LOVING LATELY

Oh hello August!  Time is flying by way too fast!  Anyhow, let’s start the month with a little summary of some products that I have been enjoying.

Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duos | £20

This is one of my favourite highlighter discoveries recently.  These Gossamer Duos have such utterly creamy and smooth texture.  With great pigmentation and blendability, these impart a natural lit-within luminosity that looks perfect in any lighting.  Read my full thoughts and see swatches here.

Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Mattifying Oil Control Setting Mist | £18

Once again touch in Sol has brought out another innovative product.  This setting spray is a mist to powder.  I’d spray generously, let it set then gently tap to lock everything in place.  It has a slight pleasant scent that dissipates relatively fast.  The spray works extremely well to absorb excess facial oil and sebum.  It melds my makeup together to a soft matte finish without feeling powdery or tight.  Such an essential for the recent hot and humid weather in the UK!  My makeup stays looking perfect for up-to 6 hours.  You can always reapply when and where needed.

Nip+Fab Loose Setting Powder in Banana | REVIEW

I have been enjoying baking with this light and finely milled powder.  It brightens and smooths my under eye areas without looking dry.  I use it to set my Rodial Banana Lowlighter (reviewed here), this combo would combat any visible signs of tiredness, lack of sleep or jet-lag!

I also use it to bake under my cheek contours and enjoy the chiselled looks.  This is an amazing find at £8.95!

Lancôme Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara £21

I love the original Monsieur Big Mascara and I have a much bigger love for the Waterproof version.  It provides the length and volume that my lashes need as well as being smudge proof, budge proof in any wet environment.  I took it to the Maldives last month, jumped in the pool and sea and I didn’t get panda eyes plus my curled lashes remained curled! Pretty impressive!

Verso Skincare Enzyme Peel | REVIEW

This has been my go-to peel.  The lightweight feel and the effectiveness have wowed me over and over again.  I’d use it prior to my makeup application before a special event to achieve a more polished, flawless look.  This peel removes all my dead skin and brings my skin back to life!  My skin appears smoother, brighter and more radiant.  No redness or irritation experienced.  You can check out my full thoughts here.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Fragrance | £54.50/50ml

First thing first, how pretty and elegant is the packaging!  I must admit aesthetic is a big attraction to me.  The Daisy Love bottle is a worthy display on any woman’s vanity table. That white oversized daisy is amazing and eye-catchy!  It’s good to know that the scent is just as addictive and irresistible!

  • Top Notes: Crystalized cloudberries
  • Heart Notes: Daisy tree petals
  • Base Notes: Cashmere musks, Driftwood

It opens with  a burst of bright and sweet cloudberries, followed by a delicate, sunny and fresh floral note blends together with the warmth of cashmere musks and driftwood.  I love that it’s more fruity than floral, still sweet yet light and not overpowering.  It’s a fragrance that would leave a unique and long lasting aura.

So there you have it, I have been pretty obsessed with these.  I love discovering new products that work and enhance my overall appearance and well-being.

What have you been loving of late?

Thank you for being here today!

Much love always,

Sandyxo
