Pixi Beauty has been nailing it lately.  The company has been releasing some effective and gorgeous skincare as well as some stunning makeup collaborations.  This beautiful GLOW package really stole my heart.

I very much appreciated the beautiful packaging these glow getters came in but it’s the contents that really impressed me.

Liquid Fairy Lights| £15

Liquid eyeshadow is so on trend right now and I have tried a fair few to know these Pixi Fairy Lights are worth writing about.

I love that the formula is not too thick and the light-reflecting glitters are not too chunky.  They can be sheered out using finger/a brush with ease or patted on for a more opaque coverage.

I find the Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights can be applied with the ease using the flexible and soft sponge applicator.  They set to an incredibly long-lasting finish without feeling tight or crackly, incredible on my oily lids.  There’s hardly any glitter fallout with these.  The Fairy Lights are infused with chamomile and rose extracts to soothe and hydrate the delicate skin on your eyelids.

I have 5 new shades to play with.  The coverage and size of glitters vary between shades a little so I’d like to incorporate them differently into my looks.

Crystalline – a beautiful iridescent silver sparkles suspended in a clear gloss. This is the least pigmented and very sparkly.  I use it as a eyeshadow topper and tear duct highlight.  You can apply these on top of your cheek bones as glitters, absolutely fab for festival looks.

Sun Ray – yellow gold.  Gorgeous as a eyeshadow topper.

Rose Gold – a flattering rose gold with silver sparkles.  This contains the most refined sparkles.  I use it all over the lids. Topped up with SunRay for the extra oomph when I want to be all fancy.

Bare Brilliance – medium dark bronzy brown with silver glitters.  This shade is pigmented and works well as an eyeshadow.

Passion Light – a warm bronzy copper with visible gold sparkles.  This shade is the most pigmented and rich.  It blends out well all over the lids.  Quite sparkly!

All layers well on top of cream or powder eyeshadows.  My favourite shades are Rose Gold and  Passion Light.

Glow-y Gossamer Duo| £20

Totally agree with Tati from GlamLifeGuru with these beauts! The formula is amazing! They feel ultra buttery and smooth.

The highlighters deliver such a natural-looking brightness to the complexion, creating lit-from-within luminosity!  No streaks, no glitters detected!  With a creamy texture, the highlighters blend and meld effortlessly onto skin, brightening and enhancing high points on the face.  They are so pigmented too!  I love that you can mix and match and layer the shades.  The results are always a natural, glowy finish that doesn’t emphasise pores and textures.

Delicate Dew: beautiful light silvery rose and a coral bronzy gold

Subtle Sunrise: stunning yellow gold and warm rose gold

My swatches do not do these stunners justice!  The smoothness, luminosity and blendability are unreal.  With the 2 duos, I mix and layer the shades with endless possibilities.  They work beautifully as eyeshadows too.
