Verso Skincare is one of my favourite discoveries this year and I have reviewed some products from the range here.  Recently, Verso added Enzyme Peel to the impressive range and I have been all over it:)

Once again Enzyme Peel comes in the award-winning sleek packaging with the reversed 1.  The packaging is slim and very portable.  In fact, I took it to my recent trip to the Maldives!

If you’re new to my blog, I have oily skin and my skin concerns are fine lines, enlarged pores, irregular pigmentation and texture.

What is Verso Skincare Enzyme Peel

The peel is formulated with a proprietary combination of high-quality Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Poly Hydroxy Acids.  Naturally occurring, these organic acids contribute to accelerating the cell cycle and increasing the production of collagen, which minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  PHAs are gentle exfoliators as well as a natural humectants, helping skin stay hydrated.

So you have AHAs to increase skin’s thickness and bolster collagen density, while PHAs moisturise and purify.  Peeps with dry or sensitive skin should be able to benefit from this peel.

Furthermore, the formula is also enriched with niacinamide, turmeric and pomegranate enzymes!  The incredible formula also offers antioxidant, skin-renewing, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to help defend skin and minimise signs of ageing.

Key Benefits:

• Gently exfoliating gel

• Removes dead skin cells

• Unblocks pores

• Accelerates cell renewal

• Leaves skin smooth and radiant

The Enzyme Peel is a lightweight gel that spreads out easily.  Applied to a cleansed face, a full pump will cover my whole face, you only need a thin layer.  Any surplus, I spread over my hands (too good to waste:)).

Since I am no stranger to peels, I leave it the Enzyme Peel on for 3 minutes.  There is a slight tingling upon application.  Overall it feels quite comfortable and pleasant on.  The peel feels slightly viscous at rinsing off.

You can use the peel 1-3 times a week depending on your skin type.  I have been using it twice a week.

Always remember to use sun protection!

What to expect

I love that there is no redness nor irritation after use.  As mentioned, I used the peel while in Maldives and I didn’t notice any adverse effects.  My skin doesn’t feel tight or stripped.  I can visibly see a much smoother and radiant looking skin.  My pores appear smaller too!  I truly look forward to reaping the benefits fully with regular and frequent use!

Final thoughts

One word, SUPERB! I am thoroughly impressed by Verso Skincare Enzyme Peel. It’s an effective and quick mini facial that you can have at the convenience and comforts of your own home.  It has become a ritual for me to use the peel prior to any special events, ensuring I can look my best and my makeup can go on flawlessly.

You can find Verso Skincare Enzyme Peel at Feel Unique, Space NK and Cult Beauty.

How often do you incorporate chemical peel in your skincare routine?  Have you tried Verso Skincare?

Thanks for the review! Your skin looks gorgeous! Hard to find many reviews on the product-imagine it is too new to have many followers yet. I have been using the VERSO Enzyme Peel for about four months-and, like you, my skin looks and feels like glowy youthful perfection. My pores look smaller and my skin is radiant. I frequently get comments on how radiant and glowing my skin looks. LOVE the product on my uber sensitive oily combo maturing skin. I’m also a skin care junkie and have to say this is one of the best finds ever.
