LOVING LATELY

Can you believe it’s June already! Where does the time go! Looking back at the month of May, I have a few makeup favourites that I will be sharing with you today.

Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette* | £26

This super hot and perfectly cute palette has found a permanently home on my vanity table.  On days I’m not testing out any new eyeshadows, without a shadow of a doubt I would be reaching for this palette.  Beautiful pigmentation, quality and blendability.  For swatches and a comparison with the Naked Heat Palette, check out this post here.

Cover Fx Power Play Foundation* £38

Since getting my hands on this foundation, I haven’t strayed from it that much.  Some days, I mix it with something a little more matte or more luminous to suit my skin health on the day.  Cover Fx Power Play provides a beautiful, almost matte finish with medium coverage.  I have shade G40 and it matches my skin tone PERFECTLY.  It blends out effortlessly, feels weightless on and wait for it… the finish is super natural.  Total LOVE!  More in-depth review can be found here.

Suqqu Gel Eyeliner Pencil 05 Grey* £20

I don’t know where this shade has been all my life.  It’s a perfect dark shade that compliments any of my eye looks without being too dramatic for daytime.  And the lasting power is INSANE!  The only one so far that has lasted on my waterline (I have very oily lids).  More details here.

Verso Lip Serum*

My first very first lip serum that contains retinol.  Having used it for over 2 months, I have seen wonderful results!  Smoother, plumper lips with fewer lip lines.  Really can not ask for more!  For review of Verso Skincare, check this post out.

RevitaLash Advanced* £104/3.5ml

Is there such a thing as miracle?  I can tell you YES!  Seriously, I can not believe how long and in abundance my eyelashes are now!  I have been using Revitalash Lash Serum for about 7 weeks and I am OVER THE MOON.  With a little of mascara, my lashes look so lush and thick!  I will have a more thorough review up soon!

Tom Ford Liquid Liner £45

Still the best liquid eyeliner out there for me!  I have repurchased another one recently.  It’s a brilliant double-ended liquid eyeliner with a calligraphy brush at one end and a thicker felt-tip on the other. You can achieve amazing thin and precise lines with hardly any pressure at all.  The application is effortless, no skipping or dragging!

Rodial Banana Lowlighter*£38

This beaut brightens my under eye areas like no others!  It has a light, creamy texture that blends and melds into your skin imperceptibly.  I did a thorough coverage on the Banana Lowlighter here.

Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara* £19.50

I’m not 100% sure if this mascara gives me 13.7x the volume but it definitely gives me a lot!  My lashes look ultra long and fanned-out.  I love that you can layer without the clumping.  It doesn’t hurt that the packaging of this badass comes in a beautiful pearlescent finish too!

Hope it was fun reading about my beauty favourites.  Please let me know what your current favourites are, I might just want to add them to my wish-list!

Thank you for being here today!

Much love always

I love seeing your favorites, Sandy! It’s interesting how TF liner keeps popping up on everybody’s list, somehow I never took to it. It smudges on me, and I find the pen too heavy and long to wield properly. 😛 But that Rodial Banana powder sounds really cool, I need some brightening for my undereye too!

Thanks Linda! So interesting that TF liner doesn’t make an impression on you. It doesn’t smudge on me much unless I’m ultra oily on a particular day. Love the weight of the pen too! Beauty is definitely a personal thing. And yes you do need that Rodial Banana Lowlighter! Happy Friday!xo
