Allow me to introduce to you the SUQQU Summer 2018 – UK Exclusive – GRADATION COUTURE collection!
For Summer 2018 SUQQU has chosen a palette of contrasting shades, made up of bright and bold colours that are striking yet wearable. The concept for the collection is the gradation of colours seen in a beautiful summery landscape, with burnt deserts and glossy skies, and rosy tones in the sea with a purple mist in the atmosphere. Incorporating both shimmer and mattes textures, this collection screams fun and spontaneity!
The collection includes:
🌸 Designing Color Eyes 116 SHAKUYOUSA – Burning Sand
🌸 Designing Color Eyes 117 NATSUKASUMI – Summer Mist
🌸 Pure Color Blush 107 HOTERIBENI – Flushed Cheeks
🌸 Extra Glow Lipstick 110 KOUKI – Summer Light
🌸 Extra Glow Lipstick 111 KOIHANABI – Fireworks
I was kindly sent three items from the collection, the two Extra Glow lipsticks and the cooler Designing Eye Palette 117.
Jorge and the SUQQU UK Team have really outdone themselves yet again. Just look at the eyeshadow palettes! Pure work of arts! Those ombré eyeshadows are beyond stunning!
The shades in the Designing Color Eyes 117 are as followed
- Top left: Baby Pink, satin finish with micro silver sparkles
- Top right: Medium Gold shimmer (very fine). The pigmentation is quite sheer, you would love it if you like your shimmers to be understated and soft. Can be intensified by using a damp brush
- Bottom left: Lavender with satin finish. Appears matte
- Bottom right: Aubergine with satin finish. Appears matte. Amazing pigmentation.
The shades are finely milled and ultra smooth to the touch. True to SUQQU quality, they blend like a dream and layer extremely well. Over my primed oily lids, the eyeshadows last for 7/8 hours before I notice some creasing. I am quite picky when it comes to wearing purple eyeshadows, I’m wary that they would make my eyes appear bruised. These babies definitely don’t, my eye-looks always come out chic and sophisticated.
I adore the formula SUQQU Extra Glow lipsticks and the two above didn’t disappoint me. They glide on my lips effortlessly with buildable coverage. Thanks to the seven nourishing oils in the formula, my lips appear fuller, plump and juicy! They both feel extremely hydrating and nourishing on. If you have dry, chapped lips then these will feel heavenly and lush. For my complexion, I love wearing 110 KOUKI – a beautiful light peachy orange, such a gorgeous shade for spring and summer. The other new lipstick offering, 111 KOIHANABI, is a beautiful hot pink, goes well with the Designing Color Eyes 117.
For your reference, I have included a photo of the Pure Color Blush 107 and the Designing Color Eyes 116 below.

This week, I was able to visit the SUQQU counter in Selfridges and was introduced to the warmer Designing Color Eyes palette 116.
I thought it would be interesting to show a close-up of a well loved palette. Still rather pretty right! I find this palette has even more outstanding pigmentation. The swatches below were done with one swipes on my unprimed arm.
The eyeshadows feel silky to the touch and are super easy to blend. My eye look remains perfect for around 6 hours, some fading and creasing thereafter. I am still very much mesmerised by that ombre coral orange gradation!
I also have swatches of the Pure Color Blush 107 for you, taken under department lighting.
Gorgeous gradation effect, from berry to soft coral pink with a hint of rose gold!
I’m totally smitten by this collection, exquisite quality and stunning design! The collection will go extremely well with a fresh base, think SUQQU New Nude Wear Liquid Foundation and Bloom Glow Primer (reviewed here). I have a feeling this collection will do exceptionally well. I hope you will able to get your paws on the items!
The collection will be available at Selfridges from 26th April and available from 10th May at Fenwick Bond Street and Harrods.
Anything catches your eyes?
Thank you for being here today!
Much love always,
Sandyxo
