TOUCH IN SOL NO POREBLEM PRIMING WATER REVIEW

Touch In SOL is an innovative Korean beauty brand which is loved by many, including myself.  The No POREblem primer caused a stir in the beauty community with its impressive performance (reviewed here).

To continue with its success, Touch In SOL has added 2 more primers to the No POREblem primer range, Priming Eraser and Priming Water.  I have been trying out the Priming Water for some time, read on to find out how I use it and my thoughts on its performance.

Packaging

Housed in a beautiful pink, squeezy tube, it would be great to travel with and look absolutely beautiful on any vanity.

Performance

I must admit, as much as I was drawn to the beautiful packing I was a little skeptical when I read the primer is a mixture of oil and water.  Me with oily skin and an oil primer?  Doesn’t sound too compatible does it.  However, it’s a primer with skincare benefits therefore I had to try it out.  Guess what, the primer blew me away.  There is a perfect ratio of oil and water that makes it feels lightweight on and non-sticky.  It creates such a perfect gripping base for my foundation to adhere to.  The finish is an even, smooth and poreless base.

After my skincare routine, the priming water layers on nicely on top of my sunscreens.  A little goes a long way.  I like to gently tap it in with my fingers.  It feels slightly tacky on, the way I like a primer to feel.

As you would imagine, there is a subtle rose scent to the primer.  It smells luxurious and not overpowering.

Personally I really enjoyed using it with some really matte foundations (e.g. Fenty Pro Filt’r foundation) in the current freezing temperatures.   It helps those foundations glide on much easier and achieves a more natural finish.  Amazingly, my makeup doesn’t get oily or greasy-looking at all.  I have been using the primer daily for the whole week and haven’t experienced any breakouts.

If you have dry skin, you would enjoy Touch In SOL Priming Water greatly.  It would effectively hydrate and provide a dewy canvas prior to foundation application.

There you have it, the continuation of my Touch In SOL No POREblem Primer story.  I’m thoroughly enjoying the new addition.  It has found a wonderful place in my makeup routine.
