The Ouai does fragrance! About time too! If you have tried anything from hairstylist Jen Atkin’s hair-care brand, Ouai, then you know that everything smells really beautiful. I often feature some of my favourites from Ouai on my blog and instagram. Much to the delights of their fans, Ouai has launched four eau de parfums last month.
Each of the fragrance is named after Atkin’s favourite streets located in some of her favourite cities around the world.
Check out the compositions of the scents below.
Mercer St. evokes New York’s downtown-cool sensibility.
- Top notes – Orange, Peony, Italian Lemon, Iris, Lily,
- Heart notes – Magnolia, Jasmine Sambac, Turkish Rose
- Base notes – White Musk, Orris
North Bondi captures the surfer in their element.
- Top notes – Bergamot, Apple Blossom, Raspberry, Italian Lemon

Rue St. Honoré pays homage to Paris in the springtime.

Melrose Place instils the spirit of Los Angeles, a velvety rich rose scent.

I adore the streamline, sophisticated and chic packaging with magnetic closing lid. They feel luxe, look modern and very instagrammable!
I have been testing out North Bondi and Rue St. Honoré. Both are lovely with great projection and longevity. You only need a spritz or two. North Bondi offers that fresh and free spirited vibe. It’s soft and powdery with a burst of fruitiness. If you like Ouai Wave Hair Spray, Dry Shampoo or Texturizing Hair Spray then you’ll love this. While Rue St. Honoré is richer and sophisticated. It’s a beautiful feminine floral with a bit of muskiness. It stays quite close to my skin and lasts incredible well, you literally have to scrub it off in the shower. If you love the original Hair Oil, Memory Mist or Matte Pomade then Rue St Honoré is the fragrance for you.
Melrose Place would be the next fragrance from Ouai that I’d like to try. I have a thing for jasmine and rose. Besides I adore Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil as well as the Scalp and Body Scrub, it’s more than likely that I would love Melrose Place!
Could we have these in candles and hand creams too please Ouai!
