THE PRIMER THAT ENDS ALL PRIMERS?

Flawless base is something I always strive for.  I’m seriously forever trying new foundations and primers… the mission never seems to end!:)  As an oily gal, I’d like my foundations to have a matte finish and my primers are required to have pore-filling and mattifying properties.  Touch in SOL No Poreblem Primer popped up on my Instagram feed countless times with rave reviews, naturally I was mega intrigued!  And it could be just me but I love how fabulously PUNny the name is! Well is it a miracle in a bottle?  Read on and find out…

First thing first,  what caught my attention instantly was the sleek packaging.  No Poreblem Primer is housed in a gorgeous weighty, frosted pink glass bottle.  It feels luxurious!  And hurray… there’s a pretty good pump included!  I find the pump offers a decent amount of control and is able to disperse out the exact amount I desire, a major plus for me!

What makes No Poreblem Primer special:

It contains a unique powder that controls sebum production and creates a velvety smooth canvas. Enriched with green tea extract and collagen, the formula builds an invisible barrier against the elements, protecting skin and helping to keep it smooth and healthy – not to mention perfectly prepped for make up.

It’s good to know:

The product is formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates.  It is also cruelty free and vegans.

No Poreblem Primer is silicone based.  The texture has a gel-like finish with some viscosity to it, a little like a serum.  As you can see in the picture below, the product has a slight tint of pink.  On blending out,  it doesn’t impart any colour to the skin and has a beautiful slip to it.  It does have that silicone-feel although definitely not as much as YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer nor is it as matte and dry as Benefit Porefessional.  There is a faint, fresh fragrance to No Poreblem Primer that doesn’t bother me and dissipates quickly once applied.   No Poreblem Primer spreads out evenly giving the skin a velvety smooth canvas and doesn’t leave the skin feeling tacky.  If you gently pat the product on, you can definitely see that your pores are blurred out and diminished immediately as well as your skin texture visibly getting toned out.

I’ve tried No Poreblem Primer with various liquid and stick foundations and it has performed well across the board.  The blurring effect is subtle yet noticeable.  It definitely aids the application of harder to blend bases such as stick foundations.  If you stipple the products on and don’t disturb the primer too much, you will enable the blurring effect to last a little longer.  My skin stays shine-free up to 5-6 hours with the primer.  The wear of my foundation is enhanced and my makeup stays perfect up to 6 hours.  I think it probably would do a more spectacular job on folks with dry to normal skin types.  Using No Poreblem Primer solidly for the last 3 weeks, it hasn’t broken me out.   That said, I normally don’t react to silicone products.

I love that Green Tea extract has been added to provide antioxidant benefits while collagen gives an extra dose of smoothing and plumping.

There you have it, I have no problem with No Poreblem Primer (sorry couldn’t help myself:))  It does what it’s meant to do which is to smooth and blur out pores efficiently.  It is on par with my other high-end silicone based primers at a much better price.  Touch In SOL No Poreblem Primer could be the ultimate answer to peeps with dry to normal skin types who are concerned with pores or textured skin.

Touch In SOL No Poreblem Primer was kindly gifted to me by Style Korean.
