If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen SUQQU 2018 UK Christmas Exclusive INTERSTELLAR Collection featured a few times on my feed. The collection captures the silent majesty of the Moon, a gossamer nebula of cosmic dust and our warm mother Earth. INTERSTELLAR presents a space-themed makeup collection, offering edgy, inspiring colours and textures for infinite variation of looks.
The collection comprises of:
SUQQU Designing Color Eyes – £46.00
- No.121 Gekkouka
- No.122 Hanaryuusei
- No.123 Hikariori
SUQQU Pure Color Blush – £32.00
- No.111 Yuuboshi
- No.112 Akeboshi
SUQQU Matte Lip Crayon – £24.00
- No.101 Seisai
- No.102 Sorabeni
- No.103 Kouzu
I received the collection a little later this year and with my planned travel, this review was much overdue. On the other hand, I have had a good few weeks playing with the collection.
Matte Lip Crayons
I love lip crayons! They are extremely easy to use and portable. They eliminate the need of a lip liner. These lip crayons are dimensional semi-mattes, they have a slight healthy sheen to them. The formula is richly pigmented and long-lasting. They feel lightweight on with some hydrating properties.
- 101 Seisai is a pink nude with warm beige undertone. It’s a stunning nude that I find quite flattering on my skin tone.
- 102 Sorabeni is a rich warm raspberry with a satin finish on application but does dry down matte. This has fantastic pigmentation. I find this shade less hydrating than the other 2 shades. It’s such a perfect shade for autumn.
- 103 Kouzu is a warm peachy pink nude in a satin finish that would suit a wide range of skin tones and undertones.
Designing Color Eyes
The inspiration for this collection is the Earth, the Moon and Cosmic dust and these palettes truly bring the inspiration to life!
True to SUQQU quality, the eyeshadows are smooth to the touch and blend incredibly well. The colour payoff is amazing. Also they last well on my oily lids (primed).
121 Gekkouka evokes the moon and its minerals, rocks, or metals.
- Bright silvery grey with metallic silver shimmer
- Peach to gold shifting duochrome.
- Deep blueish green with multi color shimmers and a metallic finish
- Dark charcoal with a matte finish
This is my favourite palette out of the three. I can create such glamorous yet edgy smokey eye look with such ease. The metallic silver shimmer is out of this world. I can not wait to use it during the Christmas holidays!
122 Hanaryuusei
The inspiration behind this palette is the earth, evoking life-giving elements found in Mother Nature.
The bright burnt orange shade is so stunning, so striking on the crease. The brown has a beautiful purple shift to it. You also have shimmery champagne and warm rust reddish copper (think red soil). This palette is absolutely perfect for Fall, warm and sophisticated. Personally, I would have love to have the shimmer shades to be a tad more metallic.
123 Hikariori evokes a beautiful nebula of cosmic dust by layering yellow gold on the shimmering blue. The golden beige shade blends and add extra metallic sparkle to the look. The warm peach pink adds warmth to complete the look.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jorge Balzaretti, the talented SUQQU UK Senior Make-up artist and Product Developer, he told me 123 Hikariori is his favourite piece from the collection. I can totally see why, it’s so unique!
Pure Color Blush
It’s always a pleasure for me to talk about these blushes. They have incredible buttery formula, blend like a dream and have impressive lasting-power. The two blushes in this collection are no exception.
111 Yuuboshi
This is a beautiful light peach blush with a champagne highlighter on the right side. It imparts such a fresh, delicate finish. There’s quite a bit of shimmer in this blush that would be perfect for the festive season.
112 Akeboshi
This bold blush took my breath away! The blush mimic the natural internal warmth pushed close to the outer skin layers on a cold winter night. It is richly pigmented with a beautiful gradient of warm rose and a vibrant tangerine. Be warned, very light hand is needed! I can easily select one colour on each side of the pan or mixed them for the third shade. I’m extremely happy to have this blush in my collection.
So there you have it, to the moon and back with SUQQU 2018 UK CHRISTMAS EXCLUSIVE INTERSTELLAR collection. The whole collection is a major hit for me, inspirational and edgy.
The collection is available at Selfridges, Harrods and Fenwick Bond Street. If you have your heart set on anything, do pick it up before they sell out.

Hi Sandy, i love your swatches! So glad to finally see all 3 swatched side by side. My favorite is also 121, although I was very tempted by the unique-ness of 123.
