NO MORE NORMAL: HEIMISH BRICK BROWN DAILISM EYE PALETTE

Well well well, hello there Heimish Brick Brown Dailism Palette!  How pretty are you!  The moment I laid my eyes on this palette I knew I would love it!  The palette screams warmth and versatility to me.  This is my second encounter with Heimish eyeshadows (you can read my first encounter with Heimish eyeshadow here) and I could not wait to dip into these gorgeous shades!

Love how co-ordinated the packaging is!

The palette design is sleek and sturdy with a large built-in mirror.  There is a dual ended brush included.  It is quite functional with soft bristles, always handy to have on travel or for touch-ups.

A nifty how-to guide is available if you are stuck for ideas for look.  With these 8 shades, you can achieve a variety of looks; from a classic neutral modern look, glam and feminine to a warm brick brown sophisticated look.

Check out my swatches of the 8 shades in Heimish Brick Brown Dailism Eye Palette below.  The swatches were done on my moisturised arm with no primer, taken indoors in natural lighting.

These flattering shades come in matte, satin and pressed glitters textures.

Warm Beige (Warm light salmon Matte)

Red Brick (Warm brown red with fine gold shimmers)

Bronze Brick (Medium brown bronze Satin)

Sand Brick (Light brown Satin)

Nude Beige (Warm light peach with brown undertone Matte)

Salmon Pink (Rosy light orange with fine gold shimmers)

Honey Gold (Medium gold Pressed Glitters)

Dark Brick (Warm deep brown Matte)

The texture of these eyeshadows are beautifully silky, particularly Warm Beige and Nude Beige.  I find that all shades have excellent and buildable pigmentation.  Thanks to the soft texture, blending is easy and effortless.

Dark Brick is super pigmented so layer with care!  It can get a little patchy if I use too dense a brush, soft and fluffy brush with this shade is best.  I have been using Dark Brick as a eyeliner too, perfect and convenient!  On my primed lids, the shadows last over 8 hours before I notice any significant fading.

Look at Honey Gold though!  My absolute favourite shade from the palette.  I’m glad to report that the formula is even better than the glitter shade in the Heimish Dailism Coralic palette (reviewed here).  It has a wet and creamy formula with beautiful high shine.  I find it’s best to use fingers for application and blending, yup no glitter glue needed!  There is some fall-out during application and wear but it’s not a deal break for me as the shade is just simply STUNNING!

Overall, I am loving this offering from Heimish.  That Brick Brown shade makes the palette so appropriate for the cold weather right now.  That said, you can create natural and easy everyday look or glam up to a special occasion with this palette.  It’s a fabulous palette to travel with although for now it will take centre place on my vanity table:)
