Pixi by Petra Holiday Collection: Palette Rosette, Endless Silky Eye Pen in Opal Overcoat and Mattelustre Lipstick in Classic Red Review

I recently started using the most talked-about Pixi by Petra Glow tonic and I have been impressed by the results.  And coincidently I received a parcel from the brand.  It was like Christmas came early! (dancing emoji!)

I have been playing with Pixi by Petra Holiday collection for over a week and let me tell you I am majorly impressed!  The collection has left me wanting more.

Pixi by Petra Palette Rosette

What Pixi by Petra says:

Bring out your inner glow & add a rosy sheen to your favourite features with this must-have palette! Super-silky blush, glow, and contour hues bring radiance & shape to the face, while coordinated collections of eye highlighters, bases, and shapers, plus brow shades promise enhanced features.

Swish on these gorgeous shades to define and enliven your look! Paraben free. Not tested on animals.

Ok so I didn’t know what to expect before testing out the products.  And I was very pleasantly surprised.  The palette contains everything you need to do your entire face.  All shades are finely milled, smooth and silky to the touch.  The shades are pigmented (especially the day and night lid shades) and very blendable.  They all last well over 6 hours on my primed, oily lids.

Let me allow the swatches to speak for themselves.  All was taken in natural lighting and swatched on my moisturised arm.

First up, the all over glow, cheek blush and enhancing contour:

Rosy glow you will get with these 3 face powders.  There are no glitters in them so they are kind to my skin texture and pores:)

The brow shades:

These brow shades have a slightly drier texture to the touch compared to the rest of the powders.  The pigmentation is buildable so you can go as natural or as bold as you desire.  I use these shades as eyeshadows too.

The 8 eyeshadows:

Look at the pigmentation of the night lid shade!  And boy is it a beautiful deep plum gorgeousness!

The Endless Silky Eye Pen in Opal Overcoat

One word #obsessed!  I LOVE this eyeliner.  It’s like a highlighter in a eye pencil form.  You can use Opal Overcoat to add a little sparkle on the inner corners of your eyes, line your eyes with some sparkles or use it to make yourself appear a little more awake by lining your lower waterline with it (I love using it this way).  Opal Overcoat has a beautiful creamy texture and is highly pigmented.  Did I say I love this Eye liner!:)  I will definitely explore more colours from the range.

Pixi by Petra Mattelustre Lipstick in Classic Red

It’s a perfect red for the holidays, bright and happy.  The formula is a demi-matte which means best of both worlds to me, long-lasting but non-drying and light weight.  The coverage is amazing, one swipe to achieve opaqueness.  It lasts over 6 hours on me and leaves a nice stain behind.

Here are the swatches of Opal Overcoat and Mattelustre lipstick Classic Red on my moisturised arm, taken in natural lighting.

I still have the Fairy Dust favourites to review but I shall cover that in a separate blog post since this is fairly long as it is:)

Overall, I love this collection.  The Palette Rosette is such a star product, amazing quality at great price point.  Opal Overcoat Endless Silky Eye Pen is pure love.

You can find this collection on Pixi website, Cult Beauty , ASOS and a few other stockists.

Have you tried Pixi by Petra products?  Do you have a cult product from the line?

Hope this was helpful.

Thank you for stopping by.

Much love always,

Sandyxo

That palette looks so useful! It would make for the perfect travel companion for vacation or staying overnight at the in-laws over Christmas! 😉 I hope they make that Opal eyeliner a permanent shade!

Sandy this is such a beautiful and thorough review. I read your post earlier on my phone when I got the email and waited to come home so I can bring it up on my laptop and leave a comment. I adore Pixi and their products. I used to use their makeup heavily back in my college days and I’ve recently started introducing their skincare into my routine as well. I adore the Pixi Glow Tonic and their Mud Mask.

Their holiday edition makeup offerings are so gorgeous! The palette seems so wearable and versatile and I also like the red lipstick! Will have to hunt them down! Great review and beautiful photos!
