The Inspiration
Launched in 2018, L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte has an overtly glamorous finish. Fast forward to 2020, Lancôme combined sophistication of a matte finish and discretion/sensuality, meet L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte! The packaging is understated yet luxurious, beautiful hues of gold and champagne. Its case is emblazoned with the iconic Lancôme Rose.

Out of the 15 shades, I have 3 to share with you here. The three shades are all warm toned, bold yet has a soft feel to them.
My Thoughts
I was super drawn to the packaging, as were my followers on my Instagram! Check out the reaction on this post. Lancôme has totally nailed it with the packaging, luxurious and elegant – handbag and Instagram worthy!
Now let’s talk about the formula! I’m happy to report that L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte offers a non-drying, soft matte finish. I find the colour payoff amazing and buildable. The texture feels thin and velvety. In addition, they are super easy to apply, glide smoothly over my lips without any tugging. I love that the finish is lightweight and comfortable. The longevity is fabulous too.
I think Lancôme has succeeded in formulating the texture and finish of L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte lipsticks. I definitely feel glamorous yet intimate, alluring with them on!
