One of my favourite summer collections this year has to be from By Terry. The gorgeous collection is all about brightening and glowing complexion. Consisting of a mix of skincare and makeup products, the collection has everything to get you Summer ready!
The full collection comprises of:
- Brightening CC Palette
- Ombré Blackstar Eyeshadow Cream
- Brightening CC Blush Illuminating Blusher in Rosy Flash
- Tea to Tan Face & Body Allover Water-Mist
- Baume De Rose Lip Balm Summer Edition
- Baume De Rose Glowing Rose Mask
- Baume De Rose Hydrating Rose Mask
I have reviewed half of the above items in this post, do check it out for plenty of swatches and details. Today I have the last three items from the collection to share with you.
This beautiful liquid blusher is housed in a chic glass bottle with a convenient pump. The blush offers a youthful coral-pink flush. And just like By Terry’s cult Brightening CC Serum, the formula uses the same Optical Glow technology for a soft-focused and radiant finish. It’s also enriched with rosehip oil to hydrate and condition the skin at the same time.
I love the lightweight, non-sticky and blendable formula. You can simply use your finger to tap and blend or a stippling brush for a diffused finish. Personally I prefer using a brush with this blusher. With buildable intensity, the blusher melts in the skin seamlessly. The pigmentation is intense so a little goes a long way, remember to build up slowly. Also it dries down relatively quickly so work on one cheek at a time.
Baume De Rose Lip Balm Summer Edition
The ICONIC lip balm from By Terry has a beautiful make-over this summer, this little special pot would adorn any vanity or bedside table. The luxurious formula is created using essential rose wax, a unique ingredient that has powerful regeneration properties to combat dryness. It also features nourishing shea butter, antioxidant vitamin E and ceramides to help hydrate, strengthen and protect lips against everyday aggressors.
The balm feels rich and substantial. That said, it isn’t greasy or sticky. The texture is velvety and elegant. It hydrates and soothes my lips beautifully.
This is a wonderful Face and Body liquid bronzer. The formula is infused with tea extracts and active fruit essence that protect the skin from ageing while giving it a temporary tan.
I love that the finish can be customised, the non-shaken formula creates a sheer warm matte finish or you can shake the water formula to activate ‘Youth-Correcting Micro-Prisms’ that create a deeper sun-kissed tan with subtle shimmer. There is no tanning agent included so the effect can easily be washed off.
The liquid bronzer comes in a weighty and luxurious glass bottle and has a pleasant powdery cherry scent. On top of the sublime packaging, you’ll be glad to know that it’s super easy to apply! Over a large area, you can use a large brush such as By Terry Face & Body Brush (I love this brush! The bristles are dense and gorgeously soft!), your palm or a sponge. The liquid spreads and blends seamlessly to a NATURAL tan. I think it would help if you have exfoliate and moisture your skin well prior application for an unified and no-streaking finish. The liquid dries quickly to a comfortable, lightweight, non-transferable tan.
You can layer for your desired depth and intensity. I’ve tried adding a few drops to my moisturiser too and love the effortless bronzed glow, perfect for the walks I’ve been taking during lockdown.
By Terry Tea to Tan Face & Body is a great option for someone who is after a sun-kissed glow yet doesn’t want to use self-tanning products or that possible orange looking-skin. This liquid bronzer is perfect to glam up for a party or a day out. And of course the extra bonus is no waiting time, just bronze and go!
The product is available in 2 sizes, 100ml and a travel size of 30ml.
There you have it, all of By Terry Summer offerings for that radiant, sun-kissed glow.
