Founded by Sylvie Chantecaille, Chantecaille is a philanthropic French brand known for using uniquely high concentrations of natural botanicals. From the sleek and sophisticated packaging to the exquisite quality, Chantecaille offerings are the epitome of luxury.
Today, I’d like to put the spotlight on Chantecaille.
My first purchases from Chantecaille were a few years ago. Immediately, I loved the quality and the luxurious feel of the products. Recently, I’ve got the opportunity to try a few more items from the brand.
Le Chrome Luxe Eye Duos in Kenya
The duo is part of Fall 2018 collection and is inspired by the stunning Kenyan sunset sky.
The duo features beautiful light pink and plum. Both shades have fine complex shimmers that look sophisticated and flattering.

The shades can be applied wet or dry. For a shimmering finish, the shadows can be applied with a dry brush. To opt for a more intense metallic effect, simply use a damp brush. Both shades have excellent pigmentation, blend effortlessly and last well on my oily lids (primed).
I really like the inclusion of the silicon brush, it intensifies the chrome effect brilliantly, much like using your finger to apply!
Philanthropy Cheek Shade – Emotion

My heart skipped a beat when I first laid eyes on this pretty blush. The embossed golden bee looks incredible right in the centre of the masterpiece.
The gold is an overspray that brushes away quickly but the embossing is quite robust so you can enjoy the beautiful design for some time.
Emotion blush is a beautiful satin coral blush. The powder is finely milled and feels ultra smooth. It veils my cheeks and gives them a youthful and healthy finish. The pigmentation is perfect, buildable and foolproof for those who’s afraid of overdoing their blushes.
There are six shades available:
- Turtle (Grace), a deep apricot
- Elephant (Smitten), a soft peach
- Butterfly (Bliss), light with soft rosy undertones
- Bee (Emotion), a golden coral
- Horse (Joy), a playful pink
- Coral (Laughter), a warm peachy pink.
Each shade features an animal motif to represent Chantecaille’s efforts in preserving endangered environments and the many species at risk. I love that 5% of the net proceeds of all Cheek Shade sales will benefit the 6 charities championed by Chantecaille.
With the sales of Emotion Blush, Chantecaille is supporting The Xerces Society and their efforts to protect the bees and their habitats.
Cheek Gelée

I love cream blushes as they offer the most natural and seamless finish. Chantecaille Cheek Gelée has been on my wishlist to try for a while.
There are two shades available, Happy and Lively (love the names!). Happy is an illuminating light pink whereas Lively is a coral shade.
I have Happy to show you today. The formula is a joy to use! It has a creamy/gel feel to it. The gelée spreads over the skin and blends in impeccably. It certainly feels moisturising without the sticky or greasy feel. The blush imparts a plumping, dewy finish that makes my cheeks look full and youthful.
Happy is a subtle and fresh pink. On my skin tone, it needs some building up. The blush would look incredible on someone with a lighter skin tone than me.

Swatches top – bottom: Happy (slightly blended), Happy, Emotion
The cheek gelée is housed in a sleek squeezy tube that makes it extremely portable.
Final thoughts
These Chantecaille products are truly treasures in my collection. The formulations are exquisite and feel luxurious on my skin. I have my eyes on the rest of the cheek shades in the Philanthropy Collection.
You can find Chantecaille at Space NK, Harrods and Net-A-Porter.
Have you tried anything from Chantecaille?
