LUXE ALERT: GWA LUXE METALLICS BRUSH SET

I’m interrupting my blogpost planning to bring you this newness alert!

Just take a look at these babies and you will understand why!  There’s rose gold, yellow gold, foiled metallics and silver lining bound together in such fine detail.  Can I just say I am OBSESSED!

GWA has released lots of beautiful and quality products.  I wish I have enough time to blog about them all!  This Luxe Metallics Brush Set has captured my heart greatly and I’m enjoying them so much that it would be a crime for me not to do this review!

Let’s just appreciate all the gorgeous details!

I adore the gold foiled metallic handles, rose gold ferrule with silver detailing and the two-toned gold and white hairs.  A touch of luxe and opulence indeed!  Just look at the finish on each of them!

The brush set consists of 2 eyeshadow brushes and 3 face brushes.  I have been using them almost everyday for the last 2 weeks.  For my thoughts on them, please keep on reading.

Above is a close up of the Fluffy Tapered Blending Eye Brush (L) and the Eye Shader Brush (R).

Fluffy Tapered Blending Eye Brush: The brush is designed with a pointed tip.  The bristles are fluffy and soft.  It does a fab job creating a defined crease by adding depth to the eyelid and diffusing out powder shadows for an airbrushed finish.  GWA blending brush is dense and fluffy enough so you can use it to pick up products if you wish then blend the products out with it, this makes the brush very versatile.

Eye Shader Brush: A soft, curve shaped brush head perfect for applying eye shadow all over the lid.  I find that the shader brush possesses the right density and fluffiness that you can use both sides of the brush to pick up 2 completely different shades without contaminating them.  You can slightly blend with it too.

L-R: Round Powder Brush, Tapered Blush Brush, Curved Contour Brush

Round Powder Brush:  A beautiful, fluffy and soft brush for application of loose and pressed powder all over the face.  I also like to use it to blend everything together for a seamless, flawless finish.  I have used it to blend out bronzers too and it works just wonderfully.

Tapered Blush Brush:  This brush is love!  It’s a tapered brush that truly allows a precise application of blush or bronzer products to the cheekbones, temples and jawline.  Did I say the bristles were ultra soft too?

Curved Contour Brush: The half moon shaped brush fits perfectly into the hollow of the cheek to create a defined contour.  The half moon shaped design also allows it to manoeuvre smoothly around my forehead and reaching closely to my hairline with ease.  You can use it to buff and diffuse out both powder and cream products for a flawless finish.  I prefer using it for cream products a little more.

I have been digging various strong warm eye looks and been washing the brushes repeatedly.  I am happy to report that there has been no shedding of hair and the brushes fully reshape perfectly.

At £24.99, I truly think it’s a steal.  It would make a fantastic present!  The brushes come in a stylish box which makes them even more presentable.  My favourite brush has to be the cheek brush. It has the ideal density, flexibility, weight and balance so you can apply your cheek products and blend them out to perfection.  Give me a choice, I would have one set to use, one set to display and one for backup!
