Etude House is a Korean beauty brand that I have been yearning to try for a while. Who can possibly resist the cute, girly and princessy packaging ha! When StyleKorean contacted me, I jumped at the chance to choose a few items from the line, one being the Dear My Wish Lip Talk lipstick in BE102.
StyleKorean is a Korean online beauty store, a little like Cult Beauty of the UK, where you could order a variety of brands. StyleKorean provides international shipping and it was amazingly quick. It took less than 5 working days to get to me in London. All items were wrapped up securely and arrived perfectly.
Let’s proceed to the packaging of the Dear My Wish Lip Talk lipstick. How adorable!
Here’s the list of the ingredients for those who are interested.
Dear My Wish Lip Talk BE102 in the tube looks like a bricky beige but on my lips it is a bright pink with a touch of coral. It has excellent pigmentation, feels so buttery and creamy yet wears almost weightless. Opacity can be achieved easily with one swipe. BE102 smoothes out my lips and makes them look fuller. There is a beautiful glossy finish when first applied but disappears after 1 hour of wear. BE102 is quite long wearing and staining but does transfer.
I love wearing BE102 as a stain for a fresh, natural look. Wearing it with a liner will definitely increase the wear time. Although it feels creamy and moisturising when first applied, it does dry my lips out after 4 hours therefore good lip hydration prior to wear is essential.
Below is a swatch of BE102 taken indoors in natural light. Can you tell how pigmented it is!
I absolutely enjoy my first experience with Etude House. Dear My Wish Lip Talk BE102 performs impressively and is very reasonably priced. I am looking forward to exploring the other 9 shades in the range.
Have you experienced Etude House products? Is there anything from Etude House I should look into?
