My Experience
Firstly, I have to mention I love the elegant frosted glass packaging, so artistic and unique by the designer Mathieu Lehanneur. Gorgeous on any vanity!
Secondly, the coverage is amazing, a straight medium to full coverage. For an easy everyday look, I really only need a few dots to cover half of my face.
Application wise, the foundation glides on effortlessly and smooths over my pores. It evens out my redness and perfects my complexion really well. I’m impressed with the lightweight and natural finish too.
The foundation dries down and sets beautifully, so much so that I’m always tempted not to set with powder (I do in general as my skin does get quite oily). The finish is a delicate soft matte while remaining luminous, it’s lovely!
Lastly, I was blown away by the longevity of the foundation. It’s pretty long lasting on my combo skin! The foundation remains perfect and helps to keep my natural oil in control very well. I really love how it doesn’t settle into my smile lines nor wrinkles. Obviously, I haven’t worn the foundation for 24 hours but I’m pretty happy with a solid 8-9 hours before my complexion starts to look slightly too luminous. That’s pretty good in my books.
Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural Glow or L’Essential High Perfection?
If you prefer a fresh, lighter radiant complexion, L’Essentiel Natural Glow is for you. Whereas if you’re on the hunt for high coverage, natural matte finish with excellent wear-time, choose L’Essential High Perfection.
In summary, I’m in love with Guerlain L’Essentiel High Perfection Foundation, the performance is amazing on my combo skin not to mention the skincare benefits. I can see myself reaching for it very often.

Hi I find 3N Natural Glow slightly darker X
