This lipstick is a reinvention of one of Givenchy’s emblematic shades Le Rouge 333 L’Interdit.
Firstly, I love the shade number! 888 is the luckiest of all numbers! The lipstick is super unique, combination of a deep red and a luminous gold in a marbleised pattern. Incredible to look at!
Secondly, the case itself is so decadent, presented in gold and adorned with vibrant red leather for a quintessential Couture and festive look. The limited edition packaging is truly beautiful and collector-worthy, it would make a wonderful gift.
And performance wise, the formula is creamy, lightweight and pigmented with a luminous semi-matte finish. It feels comfortable and hydrating on my lips. Golden Red is a warm toned brightening medium-deep red with visible specks of gold sparkles, but no gritty feel. The gold shimmers helps to offer a multidimensional finish and gives it that extra edge. The lipstick glides effortlessly over the lips, very satisfying. There is a very faint and pleasant floral scent. I’m super impressed with the longevity, lasting over 7 hours and staying comfortable throughout the wear.

Givenchy’s iconic loose powder Prisme Libre, in its bestselling shade Mousseline Pastel N°01 has a glorious make-over to celebrate Lunar New Year. The limited-edition case comes in gold, adorned with vibrant red leather and stamped with Givenchy’s emblematic 4G logo in a gold version symbolising light.
Encapsulated in a sieve stamped with the Givenchy’s recognisable 4G logo, Prisme Libre is the only loose powder that combines four different colours to unveil a radiant complexion: on the left, two correcting tones that unify the skin; on the right, two luminous shades that harmonise the result and boost the skin’s radiance.
