This summer, Atelier Cologne is partnering with French artist Quentin Monge for an exclusive artistic creation around Clémentine California. Created in 2016, Clémentine California is one of the iconic scents of the House.
Quentin Monge’s artistic interpretation is an invitation to travel to California on a windless summer day. His illustration pays tribute to the story that initially inspired the perfume: A Hollywood film producer longing for the perfect actress and who on a warm summer day crosses paths with a natural beauty, his new muse.
Instantly, I fell in love with the artworks. The design is incredible and beautiful imprinted on a metal plaque on the 100ml bottle. This is truly a collectors piece!
This iconic scent is gorgeously fresh, sweet and sensual. It positively transports you to a sunny place with mesmerising blue sky and sparkling sea. You’ll be instantly uplifted!
- Top: clementine from California, mandarin from Italy, juniper berries from Macedonia.
- Middle: star anise from China, sichuan pepper from China, basil from Egypt.
- Base: vetiver from Haiti, sandalwood from New Caledonia, cypress from France.
The formula of the Clémentine California perfume is made from 92% renewable natural origin ingredients of the highest quality.
This fragrance screams summertime! It opens with a burst of juicy, sweet and fresh clementines. Super zesty and happy! The citrus notes are mellowed with earthy tones so it’s not too in your face. There’s a hint of spiciness from the star anise and sichuan pepper which I love. Projection and silage are good on me with 5-6 hours longevity.
Atelier Cologne Clémentine California has been perfect for recent heatwaves we have. As I can’t quite get to the beach this summer, I’m happy to get that dreamy summer feeling after a few spritz.
