Breaking news! SkinCeuticals is launching a dual-action SPF formula offering broad spectrum SPF50 protection alongside with Tranexamic acid and Niacinamide to deliver skin brightening benefits, meet SkinCeuticals Advanced Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen SPF50!
I wear SPF EVERYDAY, even if I’m indoors since I’m always taking pictures by a large glass door (as we now know while glass blocks UVB rays pretty well, it doesn’t block UVA rays which cause tanning as well as skin ageing and wrinkles) hence I’m super excited to try an advanced formula, more than just an SPF!
What makes SkinCeuticals Advanced Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen SPF50 special:
- Dual-action, ultra-lightweight
- Broad spectrum filters help protect against UVA and UVB rays
- Contains 1% Tranexamic Acid to minimise the appearance of discolouration (by decreasing melasma production)
- Includes 2% Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of discolouration
The texture is super elegant, silky and light. It glides on my skin and quickly absorbed, leaving no residue nor white cast. It didn’t feel heavy nor look greasy on my combo/oily skin. Overall, it’s really pleasant to use and that’s important to aid daily compliance.
This is my first impression only although my skin has shown great response to both tranexamic acid and niacinamide in other products. I’m super excited about the formula, love that I’m treating my skin pigmentation and discolouration whilst protecting it daily.
SkinCeuticals Advanced Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen SPF50 (RRP: £45) launches on Monday 6th April on skinceuticals.co.uk
