Blush application is one of my favourite steps in my makeup routine. It really can transform and elevate my looks completely. BareMinerals GenNude blushes have been on my to-try list ever since I’ve spotted it on Beti’s instagram post.
BareMinerasl GenNude Blush Collection features a range of mauves, pinks, peaches and beiges. There are three levels of intensity within each colour family, making it easy for people of all skin tones to find a variety of shades.
- Mauves: Call My Blush, On the Mauve, You Had Me at Merlot
- Pinks: Pretty in Pink, Pink Me Up, Strike a Rose
- Peaches: That Peach Tho, Bellini Brunch, Peachy Keen
- Beiges: Beige for Days, Let’s Go Nude, But First Coffee
For the last few weeks, I have been trying 4 shades from the 12 available shades and I’m bursting to share my thoughts with you!
BareMinerals GenNude Powder Blushes have one of the most creamy and smooth textures I have encountered. There’s hardly any powder kickup. The pigmentation is excellent and buildable. The powders blend incredibly easy giving a beautiful natural flush. I adore the seamless finish with a soft focus effect thanks to the inclusion of Blurring Mineral Complex. The lasting power is fantastic too, lasting over 7 hours before I see some slight fading.
These four shades all have some shimmers running through the pans but none really translates into my skin. They all appear as dimensional mattes which suit me to the ground. No pores or skin textures highlighted!
I have been totally obsessed with these blushes! Beige For Days is a perfect nude that goes with any looks while Bellini Brunch suits my warm toned eye finish. I look forward to using On The Mauve and Call My Blush more as we transition into Fall/Winter.
So there you have it, this is truly a my favourite blush discovery of the year. The formula is simply sublime!
