MAC FRUITY JUICY COLLECTION REVIEW

MAC has been killing it with their limited edition recently.  This Fruity Juicy collection had me weak in the knees!  I wanted EVERY.SINGLE.ITEM from the collection:)  With great restrain lol, I picked up the Oh My.Passion! Pearlmatte Powder, Prep+Prime Fix+ spray and 2 lipsticks in Calm Heat and Shy Girl.

Without further ado, let’s admire a close up of Oh My. Passion! Pearlmatte Powder, £24.50.  Personally, I think this is the star piece of the collection. I’d like to call it Summer in a compact.  I’m glad I gathered the courage to touch these flowers so I can present you guys with this review.

I had one of those moments with Oh My. Passion! Pearlmatte Powder.  LOVE at first use kinda thing.  It is pigmented, velvety to the touch and so very blendable.  Using my featherly soft Suqqu cheek brush, I can easily concentrate on the bronzer part to give myself a bronze-goddess effect then swirling all over for a luminous awakening blush.

Here are the swatches of Oh My. Passion! Pearlmatte Powder on my moisturised arm taken in natural lighting indoors.

Swirling your brush all over the pan will give you a light pinky peach blush with a luminous finish.  I love how universal the resulting shade is.  You can rock it with a red lip or pair it with a nude lip for an easy everyday look.  The opacity is very buildable; a whisper of colour, some light bronzing or a full dose of healthy sun-kissed look is entirely your choice.  Oh My. Passion! Pearlmatte powder lasts well over 8 hours on my oily skin with minimal fading.

Prep+Prime Fix+ 100ml | £18

Believe it or not this is my very first Fix+! I have so many other setting sprays that I haven’t felt so compelled to purchase Fix+.  Of course, that is until this Fruity Juicy packaging! Just look at the bright and happy packaging!

I love how you can just twist the cap to open and close!

Mac Fruity Juicy Prep+Prime Fix+ has a light and addictive coconut scent that is noticeable while spraying but dissipates once dried down and absorbed.  I find that the mist is very fine and even.

MAC Prep+Prime Fix+ is supposed to gently sooth and refresh the skin while giving it a boost of hydration and help to finish makeup.  It certainly helps to minimize the look of powderiness on the skin after makeup, giving skin a more natural and flawless finish.  It does a fabulous job as a wetting agent to intensify your eyeshadows.  Personally, I don’t find Fix+ affect the longevity of my makeup (I have oily skin).

The Verdict

I adore the Oh MY. Passion! Pearlmatte Powder an awful lot and I am considering back-up!  I am happy to finally own Prep+Prime Fix+ in a special packaging.  The collection is selling out fast so if you fancy the look of them, I think you’d need to make a move real quick!:)
