Look at the packaging! How can I not fall for it! I do not own one of these lipsticks so when I saw the new CD logo on them, I jumped at the chance to try.
The CD logo runs right through the lipstick.
I wanted to try and capture the rainbow of colours emitting from the tube.
I have to say I am normally a long lasting, matte lipstick girl. I hate having to re-apply lipsticks while on the go and more importantly I don’t want any lipstick sticking to my front teeth! Dior Addict Fuchsia Utopia is something new and different to my collection. Dior Addict Fuchsia Utopia is sheer, glossy and balmy. It is a pinked fuchsia with a core of light pink. I’m not sure I could see any colour gradient on my lips but the colour duo blends out well without any unblended streaks of colours. To my surprise you can build up pigmentation with Fuchsia Utopia. And even after quite a few swipes, it does not feel tacky or sticky. Dior Addict Fuchsia Utopia last arounds 3 hours on my lips (without eating).
Below are some very heavy swatches taken indoors in natural lighting. On my lips, Dior Addict Fuchsia Utopia appears much pinker than the swatches.
It is a sheer lipstick so you do have to prep your lips first as any dry flakes will be highlighted prominently.
Verdict: I welcome Dior Addict Fuchsia Utopia to my collection. I love to use in when I’m on the run as the application doesn’t need to be precise. And of course I adore the packaging.
Have you purchased anything from Dior Tie Dye Summer 2015 collection? What type of lipstick do you gravitate towards?
