Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye and Cheek Palette is the most beautiful compact that I have ever laid eyes on.
It comes in a large glossy white compact with gold trimmings. The brand logo is embossed at the clasp prominently. The compact is stored in a white suede-like protective pouch.
The palette has an overall warm tone.
Eyeshadow 1: is a light beige with a hint of pink and a gold sheen. It has a frosty finish that does not emphasise my eyelid texture. It is very creamy to the touch, dense and very finely-milled. I love this shade! It works beautifully as a tear duct highlight. This shade is very versatile as you can mix with other shades to create brand new shades. I love mixing it with Cheek 2 shade then pop the glitter on top.
Eyeshadow 2: is a sparkly golden beige glitter in a sheer translucent base. It translates extremely well on my lid over Eyeshadow 1. The creaminess of Eyeshadow 1 helps the adherence of the glitter pretty well. I experience some minor fall out when using this shade. Dabbing a little of this glitter to the centre of your eyelids and gives a glossy, almost wet glisten. The glitters sparkle elegantly under spotlights. This would be perfect for a night out.
Eyeshadow 3: is a plummy red with some pink shimmers and satin finish. It is extremely pigmented, so soft and creamy to the touch. You can control intensity of this colour in your look easily.
Cheek 1: is a highlighter or blush. It is a light peachy pink with some gold sheen. I find the finish of this shade quite frosty on my skin and slightly pore-emphasising. The texture is in line with the eyeshadows, very smooth and creamy.
Cheek 2: is a dark, plummy pink with a luminous sheen. The colour pay off is insane. Just a little tap using my Suqqu cheek brush is enough to cover one cheek. The texture is very buttery and dense. It blends out beautifully on my cheeks giving me a luminous finish. It is quite similar to the contour shade in the Softcore palette from the Christmas 2014 collection.
The longevity of everything in this palette is amazing. With a primer, there is minimal creasing after 9-10 hours. Some of the glitters still remain on my eyelids at this point.
The palette is super versatile. You can go as soft as you wish or dial up the look dramatically as you can control how much pigmentation to be translated to your eyes/cheeks. And because of that, Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye and Cheek Palette can be enjoyed on all skin complexions.
I have used the cheek shades as eyeshadows and they perform well.
You probably can find some dupes for the all the included shades in the palette in terms of colours but in terms of the quality and performance, I dare say it is quite a challenge.
Verdict: I am totally obsessed with Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye and Cheek Palette. It is totally an indulgence to own this. I think if it could do with a dark brown shade to deepen the eye looks and that eyeshadow 3 and cheek 2 shades could be more distinctive from one another. But overall, I am very happy I got my hands on this amazing palette.
