I’m obsessed with all things rose gold and Laura Mercier NEW RoseGlow Collection is an absolute rose gold heaven! It’s a pretty collection and I have all details for you here.
What’s in Laura Mercier RoseGlow Collection?
The collection consists of a NEW RoseGlow Highlighting Powder and six NEW RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eye Shadows. This is Laura Mercier’s first nude collection, designed to bring all skin tones to life with its balancing RoseGlow Pearl Blend.
Everything is housed in the stunning rose gold packaging, beautiful and luxe.
This limited edition rosy neutral highlighting powder is infused with RoseGlow Pearl Blend that self-adjusts to your complexion and perfectly balances cool & warm tones in the contours of the face to bring life and light to your makeup.
The powder is finely-milled and ultra smooth. It blends and melds into my skin effortlessly. On my fair to medium skin tone it is a beautiful and subtle light rosy highlighter. I love there is no visible glitters and it doesn’t emphasise my skin textures. It imparts a beautiful sheen on my skin. The powder works beautifully as a blush or bronzer topper too.
In this collection, we have six new rosy neutrals. Again, they are infused with light reflecting pearls, beautifully reflective without any chunky glitters.
The new shades are:
- Wild Rose: shimmery champagne rose
- Kiss From A Rose: soft pink shimmer
- Bed of Roses: a mauve shimmer
- Strike a Rose: medium soft plum rose
- Forbidden Rose: copper rose
- Rose Thorn: shimmery deep plum
The formula of these eyeshadow sticks is so creamy and malleable. The application is absolutely effortless, the stick glides smoothly onto the eye lids and you can just blend the edges out with your fingers or brush. You can use these eyeshadow sticks to fill, define or line. Super versatile and easy to create various looks, go natural or smokey in a flash. The colour payoff is excellent and once set it’s pretty crease- and transfer-resistant on my oily lids. Worry not, there’s enough time to blend and smudge before it sets.
I was sent shades Wild Thorn, Strike a Rose and Forbidden Rose. They look fabulous as a wash on their own or layered together. What I love about Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick Eye Shadows is that they also layer easily over or under other eye shadows whether it’s powder or cream formulas.
Have you picked up anything from the collection?
Much love always,
