I have loved GUERLAIN Terracotta Original for many years and collected many of their limited edition releases. If anyone does bronzers well, it has to be GUERLAIN. Recently the brand has launched a new addition that has everyone lusting for, let’s talk GUERLAIN Terracotta Nude Glow Powder.
What is it?

GUERLAIN Terracotta Nude Glow Powder is a universal powder/shade that illuminates the complexion and provides a naturally warmed bare-skin effect.
Design
Encased in Guerlain iconic brown tortoise dome packaging, the powder has a beautiful sun ray design. Worry not, the design is quite robust so you will have plenty of time to admire it.

My thoughts
Firstly, I can’t express how heavenly the scent of the powder is! It’s truly an invitation to escape, to paradise! I can’t help sniffling the powder constantly! The notes ylang-ylang and orange blossom are blended into tonka bean and vanilla notes with a touch of white musk to bring a cocooning effect and softness – such an addictive scent!
The powder is finely milled and tightly packed (so very minimal powder kick up). Easily picked up by a brush, it can be used lightly as a sheer glow or heavier for a more bronzed effect.
Onto the application, simply trace a “3” on the skin to mimic how the sun hits the face with your favourite cheek brush. I love using a loose fluffy brush for that sheer and effortless finish. The powder blends like a dream, melts into the skin adding a glowy and natural sheen, no powderiness nor orange look!
I feel the more you buff the powder, the more luminous the finish becomes. Therefore, although the pigmentation is buildable, you simply won’t ever overdo it. On my combo skin, it wears well, lasting over 8 hours with minimal fading.
On most days, I’m happily wearing just Nude Glow Powder as a cheek product because it offers definitions, warmth and glow all at once!
