This week marked a positive change in our Covid lockdown, my daughter has gone back to school and non-essential shops are allowed to reopen. On top of that, we are experiencing a heatwave too, just in time for me to welcome the happy and cute Paul & Joe Beaute Summer Collection 2020.

Matte Pressed Powder SPF25 PA++ | £28
A matte powder in the summer is always a necessity, especially one that is as cute as this Paul & Joe’s offering! Encased in the beautiful compact with a special muguet print, there’s also a sweet pouch included.
How cute is the embossing of the cat! This is a lightweight powder with a satin matte finish. I really love that the powder is water-proof and sweat-proof. Using the powder to set my makeup really helps to lock in makeup, smooth pores and uneven texture whilst providing UV protection too (this would be an extra layer on top of my main SPF). Truly can’t ask for more!

Available in 5 duo shades, each comes in a super adorable pot (I think I might overuse the words cute and adorable in this post:)). I can definitely repurpose these pots!
At first look, I thought these were standard powder eyeshadows however they are cream eyeshadows with a bouncy and smooth texture, designed to be applied with your fingers for effortless and quick looks.
I simply can’t get over the endearing cat design! Each duo features two complimenting shades in a shimmer formula, perfect for summer.
Available in 5 shades:
- 001 Sieste D’Un Chat: a bronze with a lime green shimmer
- 002 Il Fait Beau: a blue with a pale nude shimmer
- 003 Spoiled Cat: a brown with a rosy pink shimmer
- 004 Baillement: an orange with a deep nude shimmer
- 005 Ronron: a golden yellow with a deep rosy pink shimmer

The shades can be blended together or used separately. The formula is super nice and blend effortlessly. To apply, you can simply use your fingers or a brush (a dense synthetic brush will do). For me, since I have long nails, I do need to use a brush if I want to pick up the outer shade separately.
Out of the five shades, I have three to show you. The shimmers in these shadows are so pretty and flattering. Also the finish is lightweight and comfortable with buildable intensity. My favourite shade has to be 005 Ronron with the gorgeous gold (of course)!

I’m obsessed with the limited-edition packaging of these lipsticks, beautiful pastel pink casing. These three lipsticks feature Paul & Joe’s iconic formula, each lipstick has a two-toned colour with a creamy texture.
There are three shades available:
- 004 Soleil D’Ete: an orange with a red tint
- 005 Bratty Cat: a brightening and sweet coral pink
- 006 Lumiere Du Soleil: a light brown nude with hints of pearlescent glitter

It took some courage for me to ruin the little cute cat imprint! The lipsticks are super hydrating, balmy and glossy. I love the lightweight feel and non-sticky finish. Fussy-free application for a fresh summer look!
Makeup mirror | £16
This limited-edition self-standing mirror has the sweet Paul & Joe design and a cute cat shape. It’s lightweight and has a fold away stand for ease of use, perfect to travel with.
