Nude, Naturally – Kjaer Weis Spring 2020 Collection

I’m super excited to share with you the Spring Collection from the luxury clean beauty brand, Kjaer Weis.  The collection consists of beautiful diverse nudes which was inspired by the deep roots of nature.

First let’s talk about Kjaer Weis, a brand that has been on my radar to try for a while!

Kjaer Weis is a certified organic and clean make up brand created by Danish born US based, make-up artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis.  Her vision was to create a fresh, exciting and sustainable Organic make-up collection that is truly luxurious.

Kjaer Weis products are formulated with the finest natural and organic ingredients and packaged in the most sublime, refillable metal cases.

This Spring, Kjaer Weis presents Nude, Naturally collection which consists of:

• Eight skin-flattering nude Lipsticks
• Four complementary Lip Pencils 
• Four Flush and Glow duos

The Packaging 

Each product comes in a textured red box that oozes luxury and elegance.  Opening the packaging resembles the opening of a Cartier jewellery box! Additionally, each metal case is sturdy and weighty, definitely one to treasure.

Nude, Naturally Lipstick

The stars of the collection are these diverse shades of nude lipsticks.

The lipstick formula was reformulated to create a velvety and hydrating finish with great pigmentation.  The fabulous formula is silicone-free with no artificial colours or chemicals.

The shade ranges from tender pink petals, warm beige nude to brown nude.

I have shade EFFORTLESS and it’s beautiful. A warm toned cinnamon nude that’s really flattering on my skin tone! I love the creamy texture.  The formula also offers excellent build-able pigmentation.  It feels hydrating, comfortable on, super luxurious finish.  

Along with the beautiful performance, the lipstick case is simply a work of art, weighty and chic.

Lip Pencils

There are 4 new shades of lip pencil available, designed to pair perfectly with the new lipsticks.

• Soft: Beige 
• Saturate: Taupe
• Rich: Reddish Brown
• Deep: Dark Brown 

I have shade Rich to share with you.  It’s a reddish brown which is on the dark side for my skin tone, more of an autumn/winter shade for me. I had high expectations for the formula and thankfully I was not disappointed.  The formula is luxuriously creamy (thanks to the infused coconut oil) but not too creamy that it would just crumble.  The pencil glides smoothly onto the lips.  Also the colour pay-off is amazing.  I would happily fill my whole lips with it, and the great thing is it wouldn’t feel drying.

Flush and Glow Duos

Last but definitely not least, let me introduce you to the Flush and Glow Duos!

Each Flush and Glow compact holds the brand’s best-selling, buildable cream blush and a complementary highlighter or bronzer to streamline your makeup and provide an effortless way create a natural glowy finish. I’ve read many rave reviews on Kjaer Weis Cream Cheek products and I can tell you the hype is REAL!

The four combinations are:

• Vibrant Ray: Joyful and Ravishing highlighter 
• Inner Light: Desired Glow and Radiance
• Luminous Flush: Blossoming and Lustrous bronzer 
• Sunlit Glow: Sun Touched and Dazzling 

I was sent Sunlit Glow to try and it was love at first touch! The cream texture is ultra smooth and lightweight.  I love how easy it is to simply tap and blend with my fingers.  The cream dries down to an “almost” powder finish, perfect for my combo skin.  I’m truly impressed with the weightless and non-sticky feel.

Sun Touched Blush is a matte coral pink which is super wearable and natural.  Dazzling is a light shimmery bronzer/nude blush on me (this shade can be used as highlighter on deeper skin tones).  Both wear beautifully!

So there you have it…gorgeous and luxurious Nude, Naturally Collection from Kjaer Weis!  I adore how everything is utterly effortless, natural and flattering.
