Recently, Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) has launched a brand new eye primer. I was super excited to try since I love their eyeshadows and was hoping they have released an outstanding base to pair with their excellent eyeshadows!
What you need to know
- A water-resistant eye primer
- Designed to enhance and extend the wear of shadows and pigment
- Boosts colour payoff
- Reduces appearance of fine lines
- Available in 2 sizes, 15ml and 7.5ml
The primer has a creamy, lotion-like consistency. It has a light pink tint which is a few shades lighter than my skin tone (NC25ish). The coverage is fabulous and a little goes a long way. It sets down to a semi matte finish with a slight tack.
To apply, I simply tap the primer onto my lids with my fingers, I thoroughly enjoy the creamy feel! The tint covers all my eye imperfections effectively, giving me a perfect and smooth canvas to paint on. Furthermore, the lines on my lids are smoothed out without looking or feeling dry once the primer is applied. It’s truly amazing!
My eyeshadows blend much more effortlessly with intensified, striking pigmentations and brightness. I have been testing out the primer with ABH eyeshadows as well as various other brands and the primer excels in all occasions, it works well with loose glitters and liquid eyeshadows too (think Stila Glitter & Glow).
So there you have it, Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Primer has been crowned as my new favourite eye primer! It’s an understatement to say I’m super impressed with the performance. My eyeshadows pop, blend more effortlessly and last all day with minimal creasing! I know I will enjoy using the primer to the last drop!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Primer is available now on Beauty Bay and ABH website.

Much love always,
This post featured products that were generously provided for review consideration. As always, opinions are my own and unbiased.
It sounds a great eye primer. I always use my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion or the Primer in the Dior Backstage eye palette.
I usually do not reach for a primer for my eyeshadow, but this sounds great!
I`m following you now!
I always use an eye primer as I have oily lids. This ABH primer is simply amazing!xo
Thanks for your review, Sandy. I’ve been curious about this eye primer and look forward to trying it out. I find myself more interested in base products this Fall than makeup. (That will definitely change when the holiday launches begin.)
