CHANTECAILLE SUMMER 2019 COLLECTION

“I wanted to create a collection that celebrates the bold, playful and strong aspects of a woman through fun, wearable colors.” – Olivia Chantecaille

The Chantecaille Summer 2019 Collection was inspired by India, from its beautiful, vibrant colours and eye-popping flowers that blooms throughout the country.  The collection comprises of Lip Veils, Aqua Blush and Real Bronze compacts in bright, limited edition packaging.  Lots of attention to details and beautiful designs to be admired in this collection!

Beauty with a cause

One of the reasons I love Chantecaille is the brand’s efforts to give back (you can read more here).  The proceeds of sales of the lipsticks will help support an amazing charity, The Elephant Family.  This organisation is working to re-open the elephant’s migratory paths across Asia to give Asian elephants back a home they’ve lost, and to prevent conflict between humans and elephants.

Lip Veils

All three shades are gorgeous, vibrant and happy!

I love the bright magnetic-click square limited edition cases that match the shades! 

• Pink Lotus: warm rose 
• Mandevilla: vivid, youthful watermelon pink
• Frangipane: vibrant coral

I have shade Mandevilla to show you and boy isn’t it a beauty!  With a few swipes, Mandevilla makes a bright, happy and juicy statement!

The formula of these Lip Veils is so stunning!  They glide on the lip smoothly and effortlessly.  They feel super moisturising without being greasy, giving you that glorious pouty shine.  The texture is ultra lightweight on.  One of the most comfortable lipsticks I have tried!  I find the coverage is very buildable, from sheer to opaque.  Furthermore, they are so long lasting too!

And as mentioned, sales of these limited-edition Lip Veils will support the Elephant Family charity.

Real Bronze

There are two bronzer shades in this collection.  Each has a magnificent sun embossing, quite a sight to behold.

• Sirena: the lighter one, a golden bronze with a neutral tone 
• Goa: a few shades darker than Sirena with a red undertone which I love 

The formula is amazing!

• Uses pearl pigment technology for a soft, aerated texture 
• Finely milled gel-powder formula
• Buildable coverage 
• Free from phthalates, parabens and fragrance 
• Cruelty free

I have shade Goa and I am obsessed! On my NC25-ish skin tone I use a light hand so I don’t overdo it.  The pigmentation is insane!  I love baked-gelée formulas and Goa is simply exquisite! No powder kickup and blends like a dream. Seriously so lightweight on and lasts all day.  Can’t rave about it enough!

Aqua Blush

These little cheek pots are super cute and extremely portable.

Available in 3 vibrant shades

• Gladiola: fresh pink with delicate shimmer 
• Marigold: shimmery warm coral 
• Red Ginger: strawberry pink with shimmering pearls

This blush formula is incredibly innovative!  It is formulated with ultrafine powder and 50% water to create a cooling gel texture that will not dry the skin.  I don’t think I have tried a formula like these Aqua Blush before!  As it touches the skin, you’d feel this cool and hydrating sensation.  How refreshing would it be in the summer heat! 

The application is easy and convenient.  Dotted onto the cheeks, blend with fingertips or a brush for the most stunning sheer and weightless finish.  The blush melds seamlessly into my skin and imparts such a natural, dewy flush.  Once set, it doesn’t budge, even on my oily skin.

In summary, Chantecaille Summer 2019 Collection is highly desirable.  If anything catches your eyes, be sure to snap them up fast because I have a feeling they will be sold out very soon.
