Is hair thinning a worry of yours?
It wasn’t a worry of mine until several decades and 2 kids later…
You might have read about my amazing experience with RevitaLash® Cosmetics Advanced serum here, a product that I will forever repurchase and have been recommending to everyone. A few months ago, RevitaLash® Cosmetics introduced their new Hair Care Collection comprising of a Thickening Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner and Hair Volume Enhancing Foam for both men and women and of course I jumped at the chance to try it. Especially as I have noticed a prominent thinning patch right at the a corner of my forehead.
A little about my hair
My hair style hasn’t changed that much over the years, long hair with long layers with frequent colouring. I use heated curlers to style my hair and incorporate different hair styling products into my routine. Also, I have a habit of clipping my hair up as soon as I get home so they don’t get into the way.
On one visit, my hair stylist politely pointed out the change to my hair line. Needless to say I was mortified! I took a selfie one day and my fear was solidly confirmed. I was completely shocked (slightly in denial too) on seeing the prominent thinning patch. Here’s a selfie on the day of affirmation.

My experience
For the last 15 weeks, I have been using Revitalash® Enhancing Foam once a day. I simply massage the foam into the scalp and the roots of the hair around the concerned area and don’t rinse out.
The Enhancing Foam comes in an elegant and chic bottle. It’s a liquid that becomes a foam. It then can be easily rubbed into the scalp. The foaming deflates rapidly with no messy drips. The serum is quickly absorbed with no residue. My hair doesn’t feel weighed down or greasy which I love.
After the application, I’d carry on my hair styling, etc. as per usual. However, I must admit I haven’t been as diligent as I was with Revitalash® Advanced serum and have missed applications a few days a week during the first few weeks of use. I’m much better now but truth to be told I’m still missing a day or two a week. However, I’m happy to report that I now can spot lots of baby hair of approximately 7-9 cm at the previously thinning patch. SUCCESS!
After 15 weeks, I still have approximately one third of product left in the bottle.
RevitaLash Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner
Along with the Enhancing Foam, I have been incorporating the Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner into my hair care routine too.
I’m quite drawn to the high-end, minimalist white packaging.
I tend to wash my hair 2/3 times a week. To apply the Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner, I massage in a circular motion, focusing on the scalp and work through hair from root to tips (concentrating on the affected area). I then allow the products to sit for at least 1-2 minutes.
Both products have a great creamy consistency that can be rubbed into my roots easily. They have a very distinctive scent that I find a little medicinal.
The Thickening Shampoo contains a chock-full of moisturising ingredients, making it an excellent choice for people with normal to dry hair. My scalp tends to get greasy and my hair did feel weighed down during the first few weeks of use. The heavy feeling disappears once my scalp adjusted to the extra moisturisation.
After 5-6 weeks of use, my hair looked visibly thicker, fuller and healthier. Once again confirmed by my hair stylist, “ Looks fab! Keep doing what you’re doing” – she said.
The Thickening duo has lasted for 15 weeks with 2-3 applications a week.

Final thoughts
Losing hair is a frustrating fact of life, fortunately RevitaLash® Hair Care Collection can mitigate the problem. I’m absolutely happy with the results and will continue using Revitalash Enhancing Foam.
