CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS WITH SUQQU UK CHRISTMAS 2017 COLLECTION

Following his 2 previous successful collections, Jorge Balzaretti- UK Senior Make-up Artist and Product Developer, is showcasing his third collection for Christmas 2017.  And he really has outdone himself again!  Have a look at those hues and colour combinations!  S0 mesmerising and eye-catching!

SUQQU UK exclusive Christmas makeup collection 2017 captures the splendour of urban Christmas in the cold city nights.  This limited edition collection consists of three Designing Color Eyes palettes, a Pure Color Blush palette and three Extra Glow Lipstick shades.

SUQQU is such a prestigious Japanese makeup brand that I have been besotted with for almost a decade.  I am extremely honoured to receive 3 items from this collection.  Let me share with you plenty of beautiful details and my thoughts on the items!

SUQQU Designing Color Eyes palette 109 IWAIAKARI | £46

The eyeshadow quad is housed in a limited edition pearlescent white case with rose gold trimming.  Very chic and luxurious! Now, can we talk about how striking this quad is though! The pink looks intimidating yet playful at the same time!  Jorge Balzaretti has cleverly combined these shades together, there is definitely a wonderful cohesiveness to the combination.

• Bright pink: smooth and pigmented satin.
• Peach: silky smooth and pigmented.  Shimmery with very fine golden shimmers.
• Light pink: silky smooth matte.  Beautiful neutraliser and blending shade.
• Burgundy: ultra pigmented with some microfine shimmers, feels slightly gritty to the touch.

All shades apply and blend beautifully and effortlessly.  I experience absolutely no fall-out with application.  SUQQU eyeshadows are designed to be layered together, giving you some magical hidden shades.  The eyeshadows in this palette blend together in harmony and look über flattering on the lids regardless of any combinations.  The best way to wear that stunning bright pink is just right after the light pink.  This way you won’t lose the intensity and would also make the purple extra intense and more burgundy, I have been told by the creative Jorge Balzaretti himself (check out his comment here).  So I do just that and layer the peach shade around the inner corners of my eyes.  I then finish off the look with some black eyeliner (a barrier) and a good dose of black mascara.  This colour combination adds so much warmth and depth to my eyes as well as livens them up. The peach shade is beyond STUNNING, it really can make your eyes pop!  I have had so much fun playing with this palette.  It pushes me outside my comfort zone, yet the end look is absolutely wearable and the application is a breeze.  On my oily lids (over my usual eye primer), the eyeshadows lasts for 6-7 hours before the intensity starts to fade.  Oh did I say I love the little brushes included in the palette!  They are ultra soft and so functional!

SUQQU Pure Color Blush palette 105 TANKOUKA | £32

I adore these ombre blush offerings from SUQQU and have reviewed one (here).  Tankouka is a beautiful dusty rose with soft shimmers running through the pan.  The powder is ultra fine with a glorious silky texture.  It blends out effortlessly and melds into my skin imperceptibly giving me a slightly sculpted, healthy and glowy look.  I like to use the gold portion as my highlighter and dab a little onto my cupid’s bow for a subtle enhancement.  I have big love for Tankouka!  It’s one to grab if I’m unsure of what blush to go for.  The blush lasts well over 7 hours on my oily skin.

SUQQU Extra Glow Lipstick 107 YOIBUDOU| £25

This is my first experience with SUQQU Extra Lip Glow and I am super impressed with the formula.  It gives you the most juiciest, hydrated lips!  Yoibudou is a stunning blackened berry with insane pigmentation, opaque in one swipe.  The lasting power is amazing without compromising on comfort.  Once faded (after copious amount of drinks and food), it leaves a beautiful tint behind! #obsessed  You can wear Yoibudou as a stain or a full-on impact, the choice is yours!  True to its name, the finish has some high shine sheen that catches the light and the result? A much plumper-looking lips!

Well what more can I say but if anything catches your eyes in this collection, you will need to be fast!  I can imagine the collection would be sold out within a blink of an eye.  For me, the pieces speak luxury, quality and trend.  BIG LOVE!
