Charlotte Tilbury recently introduced the fabulous Cinematic Hollywood Collection. A collection holds those beauty secrets that give every woman that Hollywood state of mind. There are 10 Hollywood liquid matte lipsticks and two new contour & beauty light wands within the collection.

Hollywood Contour Wand Light to Medium | £29

The Hollywood Wands are housed in a tube with an easy cushion applicator which I haven’t come across before. The wands are operated on a twist open and shut system. I have the Contour Wand in Light to Medium and it’s a cool toned matte chocolatey brown. The contour shade appears a little dark but blends out beautifully to a natural shading. I adore the liquidy formula of the Contour Wand, super lightweight and very blendable without disturbing my base.  For the best result, I blend out the product with the Hollywood Complexion Brush using stippling motions (avoid swiping motions). The cushion applicator allows you to dot/outline your contour lines with ease. The colour pay off is amazing, a little goes a long way!  On my oily skin, the contour remains perfect for 5-6 hours. If you’re new at the contour game or prefer a natural finish, this Hollywood Contour Wand would serve you well.

Hollywood Beauty Light Wand | £29

WHAT MAKES HOLLYWOOD BEAUTY LIGHT WAND MAGIC:

• I wanted to bottle the Beauty Light effects from the Hollywood red carpet!

• Treated pearls boost brightening & highlighting to give a luminous complexion with a soft-focused finish, with light reflecting particles for a natural glow.

• Oleogel gives a high gloss, bright, highlighted effect with no visible glitters so it looks as good in daylight as it does in HD!

• Rose gold pigments mimic the soft, natural hue of the beauty light whilst the silver light reflectors intensify the result for a flawless finish

• Easy cushion applicator is a soft cushion pad that dispenses product evenly onto cheekbones, making it super blendable and easy to use.

Hollywood Beauty Light is a light rose gold with a thin gel-like texture. Once blended, it gives a beautiful sheen and almost wet finish without any visible glitters. It feels incredibly lightweight on. The pigmentation is fabulous, you only need a little dab. The best way to blend is gently tap the product out and not swiping it.  You can build up the intensity without the product bunching up or goes patchy. The highlighter bombs beyond 4-5 hours on my oily skin.

Hollywood Complexion Brush | £30

Now if you follow me on Instagram and are a long time reader, you know I have a “fetish” for brushes. This little baby is super cute, sleek and so functional. You can use the brush with any base product as you desire.  The bristles are soft and made from cruelty-free synthetic bristles. The large flat-top head allows you to blend out the contour effortlessly and soften up any harsh lines well. The angled small head is fab for precise contouring, concealing under the eyes, around the nose or small curvatures of the face. It washes well and no shedding has occurred.

Hollywood Lips Matte Contour Liquid Lipsticks | £24

I have done a review on one of the shades on offer, Best Actress (here). I was kindly sent two more shades, Dangerous Liaison and Screen Siren. I find that the characteristics of Best Actress fit well with these two shades too: amazing pigmentation, long lasting, lightweight and non-drying. Dangerous Liaison is a beautiful rusty rose shade, absolutely perfect for Fall. Screen Siren is a beautiful classic red with blue undertone, it’s beyond STUNNING! Another fabulous thing with these Hollywood Lips is that they have the ability to make your lips look visibly fuller and plump.

I am ecstatic to have the complete set of Hollywood beauty secrets. Honestly, they are the perfect tools to add some glamour to your everyday look. The products look and feel very luxurious. The packaging makes them convenient to take on travel (remember to twist close the Hollywood Wands though:)). Overall the collection is a hit for me.
