ETUDE HOUSE WONDER FUN PARK COLLECTION AND CORINGCO HEART BRUSH REVIEW

When I spotted Etude House Wonder Fun Park collection on Style Korean website, I was feeling rather giddy…pastel colours and glitters…pure heaven!  With mesmerising bright lights, candy floss, ferris wheels and merry-go-round beautifully printed on the packaging, Etude House brings you the fun that will never end!

The whole collection is so dreamy and whimsical… with shades of bright pastels, a rainbow of shimmery eyeshadows and cotton candy blushers… I’m absolutely reliving my fun-filled memories…

I picked out 2 items from the collection, the Candy Highlighter and the Glitter Pigment in shade BE101.

Etude House Wonder Fun Park Glitter Pigment BE101

My favourite from my picks!  It’s a gorgeous bronzy glitter housed in a bottle with a practical applicator.  Yes please!  I have tried using Etude House Glitter Pigment BE101 with various looks; on its own (over my usual eyeshadow primer), over cream eyeshadows and powder eyeshadows.  I found that the glitter lasts the longest over powder eyeshadows (over 8 hours).  I love how easy it is to change your entire eye-look by adding a little sparkles to your lids and just under your lower eyelashes.  You will totally rock it and ready for all the fun!

The wand design is fabulous!  The glitter pigment adheres to the wand well and transfer with ease on to my lids.  I love how easy and mess-free the application is.  After all, the messiness is what normally makes me avoid any glitter application altogether!

Below is the swatch of Etude House Wonder Fun Park Glitter Pigment BE101 on my moisturised arm (no primer).  As you can see there are visible chunky glitters so if you’re not a fan of that then this is not for you.  Personally, I adore a little glitters on the long bright summer days.

Etude House Wonder Fun Park Candy Highlighter

When I saw Etude House Wonder Fun Candy Highlighter on Style Korean website I was immediately taken by the pattern.  It is such an eye-candy:)

I have to be honest that at first I was a little disappointed with the highlighter.  I was expecting a bold, blinding rainbow swatch but the resulting swatch is very muted with no shimmer or shine.  But realistically, it is not a bad thing:) I am not going to wear rainbow highlighter strips on my face anytime soon!  Etude House Wonder Fun Candy Highlighter is great if you are into colour correcting.  It is a fabulous finishing powder (a little like Guerlain Meteorites) to subtly perfect your complexion.

In the swatch below, I ran my fingers all over Etude House Candy Highlighter. The pattern was not ruined at all which is such a bonus.

I also have a cute little heart brush that I’d like to share with you in this post, The Coringco Heart Brush.

How cute is that!  It is very fluffy and soft.  The brush is designed to stay as a voluminous heart shape.  I remember thinking to myself, even if it doesn’t perform I can over look it since it is way too cute:)  To my surprise it picks up and blends out my blushes very well.  You can also use the tip of the heart for a more precise application.  You really can’t judge the book by its cover!

The Verdict

I’m very pleased to have Etude House Wonder Fun Park Glitter Pigment BE101 and Candy Highlighter in my collection.  I would recommend the glitter pigments if sparkling is your thing as it is so easy to use and packed a punch.  The Coringco Heart Brush is such a sweet heart… too cute not to have!

Has any of these products melted your heart?

Much love always,

Sandyxo
